Netflix Originals are based on the idea of everything being “content that is produced, co-produced, or distributed by Netflix exclusively on their services. Netflix funds their original shows differently than other TV networks when they sign a project, providing the money upfront and immediately ordering two seasons of most series.” At roughly $10 a month, Netflix offers a revolutionary viewing experience for the audience with original, creative stories.
Netflix is saying that as of 2018 they have approximately 700 Netflix Original TV series and over 55 Netflix original movies. Ever since April 14, 1998, when Netflix first came out, they only had 30 employees with 925 titles, all DVD based. When Netflix got out into the public it was liked automatically. After 20 years they are still doing very well, especially since focusing on Netflix originals.
Netflix is filled with something for everyone to enjoy. From series, movies, and trailers, the shows have drama, romance, action, adventure, thriller, chick flicks, guy flicks, and much more. Netflix is very appreciated app by millions; it's good to sit down grab a snack and get comfortable and watch your favorite movie or series and relax. In my opinion that's my favorite thing to do is lay in bed, grab my laptop, eat snacks, watch Black Mirror and relax. The problem with Netflix is stopping once we start, which is made more difficult by the accessible format: it's simple and cute; you even get to choose an avatar for your account. Also, for only a couple of dollars you can have several accounts on your Netflix for those who have big families. For those who want an almost limitless selection of shows, you can pay a little extra for receiving DVDs in your mail that's not already on Netflix streaming. Black Mirror is the most interesting, mind twisting series that makes you question society. Each episode is never the same, being a two-hour film connected to the larger series (like a modern Twilight Zone). This TV show reveals the truth of society, whether we want to see that or not.
