Many people have seen or heard of this new ice cream joint in Russellville, Kentucky. This is just what we needed for the children and teens… and everyone else!

Yesterday, Tuesday the 26th, some friends and I went, soon realizing that the workers there are so nice and as sweet as the desserts. They treat customers with respect, asking what you’d like and want with a smile. Not only are these sweets low-cost, but the ice cream quality is out of this world! I ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, adding a more sweets to the already deliciously sweet base: gummy bears, sour patch kids, and marshmallows.

The plethora of ice cream choices satisfies any sweet tooth; then you get to decide what toppings you’d like. Everything tastes nice and fresh, reminding me of Stakz in Bowling Green. But who wants to drive 30 minutes from Russellville when you can just go to town, sit down, relax, and most importantly, enjoy?

Yes, we do have other restaurants that sell ice cream, but this place is dedicated to sweets, with plenty of room to enjoy them at the shop. The paint on the walls are very bright and appealing, while the sitting area is a cute and simple design. Not only are these things great qualities, but Sweet and Salty is located near the middle of town, right beside another new place named Wok This Way, which is located right beside the grocery store Ruler Foods. I would recommend this awesome place, 10/10, and I hope you enjoy it even half as much as I did.
